Quality Enhancement
– Using our state of the art "Umbrella" program, MedLite is able to insure the format consistency of transcription. This program interfaces with client systems to insure the correct spelling of names used in the reports, confirms dates of service, makes sure all dictation has been transcribed and returned, faxes the note (if required), prints, and automatically places the note into a database for future reference.
Reduces Cost
– The "Umbrella" program also addresses the processing side of transcription. It allows MedLite to use computers to check and distribute notes automatically. Historically this has been a labor-intensive part of the business. Reducing costs allows MedLite to pass along savings to our customers. Customer costs can also be reduced by aiding in the filing process. Documents to be printed can be queued and printed by department, doctor, or note type. Let the computer sort the notes to make filing easier.
Secure Web Access To Notes
– Our clients receive the benefit of viewing notes at any time with MedLite's secure website access to transcribed medical records. Whether in the office or off-site, individuals with authorized clearance can view, print, or fax documents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No longer are those "missing" dictations missing.
Internet Printing
– Current transcription can be printed over the internet by the customers' medical records personnel at a time convenient to them or by the MedLite production staff at a predetermined time. Everything is secure.
